Dear all,
to briefly escape these desperate times I thought I gift the gift of nostalgia by setting up The Sims Complete Collection (downloaded from archive.org) on a friends mac running macOS version 10.15.7. Using PlayOnMac I managed to install the game successfully, moved the no CD crack into the adiquate system folder of the virtual volume and launch the game. But that just sends me into full screen mode of something that's called "wine32on64-preloader" where there's a 4:3 screen aspect ratio showing nothing but white and a larger, more pixelated mouse than usual, which is why it seemes to me that the launching process is stuck. Does anyone know a solution to that problem? This is what the log book tells me:

Any help is appreciated .
