Automate clear of clipboard

I am running POL 4.3.4 on Deepin Linux with KDE. I am running Password Safe 3.2.3 under Wine version 5.22 inside a virtual desktop. The software runs cleanly but everytime I need to type in the password for the program after restore I have to clear the clipboard first. Is there anyway to automate clearing of the clipboard after restore?
