From time to time, the language of WINE in a WINEPREFIX is changing between the country I am in (not my native language) and my OS language.

My language variables contain

$ locale
LANG=en_GB.UTF-8
LANGUAGE=en_GB:en
LC_CTYPE=pt_PT.UTF-8
LC_NUMERIC=pt_PT.UTF-8
LC_TIME=pt_PT.UTF-8
LC_COLLATE="en_GB.UTF-8"
LC_MONETARY=pt_PT.UTF-8
LC_MESSAGES="en_GB.UTF-8"
LC_PAPER=pt_PT.UTF-8
LC_NAME=pt_PT.UTF-8
LC_ADDRESS=pt_PT.UTF-8
LC_TELEPHONE=pt_PT.UTF-8
LC_MEASUREMENT=pt_PT.UTF-8
LC_IDENTIFICATION=pt_PT.UTF-8
LC_ALL=

What do I need to change to fix this for WINE on PlayOnLinux?

Give your OS and version, and Wine version used, perhaps this will help to get a answer.

I've never heard about such a issue.  Please give your OS and its version (you gave the Linux kernel).
