Hello everybody,
I hope I'm in the right place.
We use Ubuntu Gnome on multiple clients. For various reasons some of them don't want to and can't do without Microsoft Office. As a compromise we now use PlayOnLinux and Office 2010, which works very well, except for access to SMB shares directly from Nautilus. GVFS creates a directory under
/run/user/uid/gvfs/smb-share:server=192.168.0.1,share=test
And here is our problem with the ":" the directory cannot be opened in Office/Wine. I found out by searching and trying that if I put an "ln -s /run/user/uid/gvfs/smb-share:server=192.168.0.1,share=test ~/network", access is possible without problems.
I came across the following:
https://askubuntu.com/questions/454347/how-to-allow-wine-to-access-network-shares
However, the script does not seem to work that way. I replaced $USER with $UID. But the script is never called from /usr/share/playonlinux/bash/document_reader. Maybe someone has a good tip what I can do.
Thanks for any help
