Hi all, I've several problems to install Adobe Acrobat DC 2017.

 

After installed the main application then it doesn't appear listed in the playonlinux programs, this I could solved by creating a direct access in playonlinux configuration.

 

When I try to install the update which is an .msp file it doesn't run, in fact playonlinux says that it crashed.

 

For last the licensing file (an executable, not an istalled) has several options in a dropdown menu, that menu appears but when I pressed the menu to diplay the list of options it doesn't drops down like if the list was blocked, I'm running this executable by simply using the option install.

 

How can I solve those problems?, thanks in advance for the help.

Well, right now I could install and run the program but it doesn't show any text in any window or the menu windows but it shows perfectly the files, anyway, I'll see in wine HQ forum or something to try to make it work.

Here is like it looks right now, in an installation of proteus that I have the lack of text problems was solved from the system menu of proteus by changing from OpenGL to Windows GDI but that problem was only inside the editor window, this is al over the window excepts the pdf.

the problem that I have is because I can't find the option to change the graphics mode of the program. I've allready tried by changing some options (relative to GDI and OpenGL) in the show label of the configuration menu for that application in playonlinux but it didn't make any change.

 

On wine's registry I couldn't find options for graphics mode.

About GDI, you tried the right way.

Please tell me your Acrobat DC version, and Wine version used on POL.

The Acrobat DC version is th 17 (2017) and it gave me that problem with the system wine version (I think is the 1.8.7) and the 4.0 what I've downloaded when I was trying to make Proteus work, thanks for the help.

 

I mean, the problem presents itself with both versions of wine.

I did some updates in the script that may fix the issue.

Thankou, I need to ask you which script?, I've seen that you updated the script for Adobe Reader DC yesterday but I'm not installing the reader but the full Adobe (Pro) and I have no clue on how to modify the script or even run it to install the program. This is too new for me.

 

And is the Acrobat Pro DC 2017.
