Move virtual drive to different distro

I have a Office2010 virtual drive, on Manjaro. Can I move it to a different distro? I tried simply copying the 2 directories 

PlayOnLinux's virtual drives

but that didn't work.

And what if the source location will be deleted? I am asking because the method in the Wiki says to put a symbolic link on the source location.
