i5 2.66 GHz intel core,

 

ATI Radeon HD 4850 512 MB graphics

 

This CPU shouldn't be too bad for skyrim. Why is it stuck on creating the virtual drive? I have steam open and own Skyrim.

this error comes after indicating there has been a file mismatch with the below linked:

as long as two lines of code, one local and one sever, being different. 

I cant install and complete the installation of microsoft visual c++ 2008

 

it continually crashes. here is the debug report for the vcredist_x86 which led to the initial  problm.

The issue is not the CPU.

However the download link (removed by Microsoft) was fixed on 17th october 2019 in the vcrun2008 script. The link were replaced thank to Archive.org
