Hi all, how are you?, recently I've tried to open the help file for proteus 8.6 and it opens the help window but it didn't show the content of the file, I mean, the help window remains in white with no content.
The debbuger shows this message:
"STARTPAGE: Help link - PDS:0 from helpTopicsList"
Could not load wine-gecko. HTML rendering will be disabled.
err:mshtml:HTMLDocument_Create Failed to init Gecko, returning CLASS_E_CLASSNOTAVAILABLE
How can I solve this problem?.

Hi, sorry for all the months without a replay, I think I've updated the wine version to 4.0 in POL but when I request the wine version from the computer's terminal it says this
wine --version
wine-1.8.7 (Debian 1.8.7-2)
which means that I least the computer has an older version of wine, so, do I need to update wine from inside of POL of on the terminal?
Thanks for the help

I've searched and I made a mistake, I've nerver copied the gecko .msi files on the gecko folders, then I readed the instructive in the wine page and copied those files inside /usr/shar/wine/gecko but I had the same problem.
Then I also readed "if you installed Wine in some $prefix rather than /usr, place the .msi files in $prefix/share/wine/gecko/ instead of /usr/share/wine/gecko. (e.g. if you installed it from source, then place the files in /usr/local/share/wine/gecko)."
so then I copied the gecko .msi files in the folder /.PlayOnLinux/wine/gecko but it still gave me the same error "Could not load wine-gecko. HTML rendering will be disabled.", so, what can I do from here?
There's no /share folder inside the Proteus folder

I've finally could solve the problem as explained below:
After uninsstalled the program when I was reinstalling then I modifed the wine machine configuration to emulate windows 10, bassically I was running a new application under windows XP and it solved the problem of showing the help.
May be you present problems when displaying the schematic but that can be solved by modifying the Display Options in the System Menu, for me worked use the windows GDI mode.

I am tired for trying installing Arduino library in Proteus 8.6 demonstration. Please help me kroger feedback.
Hi @Olga32, to install a library in proteus make the following steps:
- Open any design, even a sample.
- Open the library menu an then the submenu Library Manager.
- Press the button "Create Library" which is fourth from left in the lower part of the window
- The following steps are easy.
After that you could use the all the arduino circuits that you want to use in your simulations.
I need to clarify something, at least from proteus 8.6 it comes with arduino schematics pre-packed to use directly from inside the CAD. The only thing you must do previous to use and Arduino is to create a Project for Arduino, all that can be done with the Project Wizard, you even can write your code and compile it from inside the CAD with the embedded compiler for Arduino.

Hi @Arturok, to solve that display issue you nedd to go to menu System > Set Display Options and in the emergin menu you must choose "Use Windows GDI Graphics", that solved the display option for me. Any question ask again
