I'm following a reddit guide of how to play SWTOR on macos with wine. I keep getting stuck on creating a virtual, 32-bit drive with 2.20 staging like the guide says to do. All it says is please wait while a virtual drive is created, and it never finishes. Any help to getting to past this loop is welcome. I'm on the latest version of macos mojave.

You're doing a manual installation. I suggest you to later have a look to our script for 'Star Wars: The Old Republic' (I'm not sure it still work, feedbacks are welcome).

Please tell me your PlayOnMac version and your OS version.

 

A copy of the log may be useful too ( Tools -> PlayOnLinux/PlayOnMac debugger ).

I can click cancel when its stuck trying to create a virtual drive, and it shows the virtual drive above default. When I try and click configure wine or another option under the wine tab, the icon for the opened window shows in the dock, but the window is invisible.

I figured the issue out. Thanks for trying to help.

I sometimes have this kind of issue (with POL and misc scripts), I cancel the script then restart it.  Is it what you did ?

I am having the same problem described by the original post. Any ideas would be appreciated. I'm a bit of a newbie to this sort of stuff.
