Having trouble installing from CD

villandra	I'm having no trouble installing my games and other software from downloads in Ubuntu 18.04 with PlayonLinux. However, when I start installing from cd I run into problems. Instead of installing the game and running it from PlayonLinux, it wants to install it all over again from the CD! How do I get it to understand I want to INSTALL the program? I'm using a laptop, if that matters.
