So i bought a qualifying product and i amd trying to run the verificaton program.  I created the drive in 32 bits, installed the program but it doesn't run.  i ran the debug and i saw it calling for .net 4.7.  Got that sorted out and it sill doesn't run.  New log file is below.  nothing jumps out at me.  perhaps someone with skills knows what to do next?

Hello, I see you are running "AMD Product Verification Tool.exe", and this end with a crash into Wine.

The best answer I can do  is : read "Error related to Wine" at http://wiki.playonlinux.com/index.php/How_to_Read_Debug_Logs

Perhaps you may try to install Dotnet40 before to run it...

I'm interrested to get your software to try to run it, because I can't download it from https://www.amdrewards.com/

At least I wish to know the date of this software and its version.

ok.  so you dont know. and have no experience.

you cant install 4.7 without first installing 4.0.  so you can assume that if i have 4.7 install 4.o was installed first.

do you read the log by chance and see anything that would point to another dependency that needs to be installed?  it looks like gibberish mostly to me.

happy to provicde the software for you to look at.  see what i can do to send it to you somehow.  perhaps you can get it running?

I looked into the file of the installer (I saw it need .NET Framework 4.7, but "winetricks dotnet472" seems currently not yet available on POL v4.3.4).

POL 4.3.4 + Wine 4.0 : installation work, launching the app fail (crash).

POL 4.3.4 + Wine 4.0 + Dotnet461 :  launching the app fail (crash).

POL 4.3.4 + Wine 4.7 + Dotnet461 :  launching the app fail (crash).

I conclude that before to hope to automate the installation of this software with POL, it will be necessary to make it run with Wine. .
