Installing PoM seemed to go ok - I've also installed a Windows programme...I think!
 

But after finishing the programme install, PoM went into an interminable 'Scanning the Virtual Drive' procedure...spinning, spinning, spinning....waiting, waiting....no, go and make a cup of tea.....still spinning....

What is going on with this 'scanning' process?  Most sane people would conclude after 10 minutes that PoM has died, got stuck, or something else has gone wrong.

Oh hang on....after 10 minutes it eventually gave me an option to create a link to my programme.  So I did that, and......it's gone into scanning mode again!  It's still spinning round as I write this!  What on earth is going on?

This is strange. Can you run PlayOnMac inside a terminal a show us the logs?
