Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the proper place but I'm wondering how I can request a special build of WINE so I and others can get a few games running, specifically one game "The Sims 2".    According to this WineHQ page, a patched version of Wine will run "The Sims 2" with varying levels of success.  https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=2633#notes     I would like to see a version of WINE availible though PlayOnLinux that includes this patch.

You can try submitting a bug, but the developers normally do not create custom versions of Wine any longer.

In fact, most newer versions of Wine and "staging" versions will handle almost all games.  Except DRM issues and compatibility issues.

Have you tried "staging" versions of Wine yet?

This app still has a bug even now.  Lutris does have a patched Wine to get around this issue.
