Sony Imaging Edge installs, runs, cannot reopen

So, I downloaded Sony Image Edge which is a RAW image editor/converter.  It is/seems to be specific to my DSLR.  Installed it in Windows 10, would like to use it in Ubuntu 17.10.  Would not install successfully using the most recent version of Crossover, so tried using Wine and playonlinux.  Install worked like a charm.  My problem is that, once I exit the application, I cannot find a way to restart it.  There is no icon on the desktop, opening playonlinux does not seem to offer the opportunity to reopen the ap.  What am I doing wrong.

I use Irfanview, and have installed it with success using Crossover and using Wine.  It then appears when I show applicatons and there is also an icon on my Ubuntu desktop.

No such luck with my playonlinux install of Imaging Edge.  I know I must be overlooking something simple.  Of course, I can always just reinstall it to get it running again, but that seems a bit much.

Please advise.

Thanks.

Hi,

Would you mind sharing how you got the software working? I've installed Wine and Playonlinux, then selected "install another application", linked to the downloaded 64bit .exe from the Sony website, but then get an error about Wine crashing?

thanks,
