Skyrim opens Wine Explorer

I'm new to POL and I tried installing Skyrim from a disc. After the install process I setup the shortcut for the launcher. When I open the launcher and hit play, the only thing that opens is Wine Explorer. Ive tried just opening the TESV.exe with wine but nothing loads.
