I have MetaTrader 4 loaded into a PlayOnMac app.  My Mac is a Sierra 10.12.6 OSX.  Something went very wrong the last time I ran the app and it won't run anymore.  As such, I don't know how to tell you which version of PlayOnMac I'm using (is there a trick?).  Part of Metatrader 4 is an editor for writing applications.  I've put in months of work and now fear all is lost (haven't developed a method for backing it up....).  Do you know how I can view/retrieve the text files I generated with this program.  Can I at least recover those or am I out of luck?  Praying you have a solution.....

Well, I found the files on my own.  In case someone else runs into a similar problem, I'll give the specifics.  In essense, there's an entry in my personal "Users" directory named "PlayOnMac's virtual drivves".  In there was my "Metatrader4" directory.  Then there is a "drive_c" directory, then the "Program Files" directory.  And then a directory for the brokerage I use.  The files are under there based on the standard directory structure that Metatrader 4 employs.  In particular, an "MQL4" directory with the various indicators, experts, etc. directories.
