Can I install wine offline?

It is slow to download wine in POL directly, can I get it elsewhere and install it offline?

Hi everyone.

I tried to install wine in POL directly, but it's too slow (I am in China). Then I tried to use a SOCKS5 proxy on it, but tsocks and proxychains-ng neither works with POL. POL can detect new version with them, but the wine version manager says "Wine package website is unavailable".

So, can I get the wine installer/package elsewhere (so that I can use my proxy), then install it offline?

Unfortunately all of my Wine versions are downloaded through the Wine Manager in PlayOnLinux.  I don't know how to get them from their respository first, but maybe you can search for it and download them one at a time?

Then you can move them into the Wine folder...

Maybe run PlayOnLinux with a command prompt and then use the Wine manager to see where the wine versions are stored?

You can also email contact@playonlinux.com and see if they can provide a URL to the Wine versions.
