I've been struggling getting Everquest to launch using PoL for awhile now. The struggle is with the Launcher. Trying to get the launcher up and running is what has caused all of this frustration. Sometimes it will work on the first try, others, the twentieth. I've attached some logs, anyone have any ideas?

You should try to : use latest wine staging (2.14), install corefonts, directx9_43, wmi and then set windows version to windows 7 on winecfg

 

I've set:

1. Wine Staging 2.15
2. Core fonts installed
3. Direct X 9.43
4. Windows 7

How do I install WMI? I don't see it in the list, and Google isn't helping.

It seems to be possible by winetricks, but if it works without it, it's not necessary.

PS : wmi will certainly reset win version.

PS2 : Tell me if it's working, so that I make a POL5 script ;)
