Hi, I'm currently trying to install DOOM under PlayOnLinux, however it requires a custom Wine version and a 64 bit architecture and after I have installed the Wine version 2.0-rc6-staging under Tools -> Manage Wine version -> amd64, then went to Install -> Install a non-listed program -> Install a program in a new virtual drive -> Checked "Use another version of Wine" and clicked "Next" my custom version didn't show up.

I've tried waiting several minutes, as someone described it as a bug the versions taking too long to load, however the only displayed version remained "System".

I've also tried to install an x86 version, which did show up, but I do need to use amd64.

System specs:
Linux Mint 18.1 - Kernel 4.8.0
PlayOnLinux version 4.2.12
GTX 1050Ti - proprietary drivers version 375.66
CPU: i5 7400

Normally you have to go in tools-> manage wine versions

If it doesn't work, you can manually dl wine 2.12-staging from here->https://www.playonlinux.com/wine/binaries/linux-amd64/

Ctrl+f, look for 2.12.staging, choose the .pol file and rename it .tar.bz2. Extract and look for a directory called 2.12-staging, Place it into .Playonlinux/, in the wine/linux_amd64 directory (something like that). Normally it should work.

Which is exactly what I did, and the version does show up in my .PlayOnLinux folder, it just doesn't show up when I actually try to use it.

I think I found the bug, for some reason PlayOnLinux thinks the Wine directory is .PlayOnLinux//wine instead of .PlayOnLinux/wine:

"find: ‘/home/mikpol/.PlayOnLinux//wine/linux-x86/*’: No such file or directory"
