Hello

I found a solution, how to get the new wine-versions in PoL, without the PoL-installer:

- Install newest wine (staging)-version of wine (as described here:  http://linuxg.net/install-wine-staging-on-ubuntu/ )

- Go to wine-folder (normally /opt/). There's a folder called "wine-staging". Copy the folder to your PlayOnLinux-installation folder, where the PoL-wine-version are located (f.e.  /home/YOUR-USERNAME/.PlayOnLinux/wine/linux-amd64

- rename the folder to something like "2.12-staging".

- Start PoL, and choose under "configuration"  the new "2.12-staging".

That's it.

Were you able to get Steam to successfuly load?  I got 2.12-stagging into PlayOnMac but steam still fails to load prompting this message. Thanks for your help.
