I managed to get Netflix working here on Ubuntu thanks to the 'ppa:ehoover/compholio' instructions in this thread ( https://www.playonlinux.com/en/topic-9681-Netflix.html ). These worked nicely for me, thanks.
I was wondering though if it would make sense to have a Netflix recipe for POL, that does effectively the same: Install Firefox and Silverlight within a Virtual Drive, and launch Firefox defaulting to netflix.com?
Alternatively, I tried to install Silverlight within a POL Firefox installation, but there doesn't seem to be a straightforward way to do this. Is there perhaps a method to do this that I've overlooked?

Maybe it does. However the issue might be the lack on manpower to maintain the script.

hello guys,
Firefox just updated (Version 52) and now Silverlight doesn't work. Windows 10.
I've tried the Fix It tool and trying to re-install, and it still is asking me to install Silverlight. When I do, it says it can't because it is already installed?
Any ideas?
thanks in advance
