How to use custom-compiled Wine with PoL?

If I compile a custom build of Wine such as this for Starcraft 1.18 how can I use it with PlayOnLinux?

I don't see a straightforward way to match the compiled results with what is in ~/.PlayOnLinux/wine/linux-x86/
