Hi and happy new year everyone!

I just installed Casino Empire through the games mounted iso image (which I had created on another computer because the laptop I use doesn't have a dvd drive). Everything works fine, but when I try to launch the game I get a message that the cd cannot be found. Is there a way to tell POL to use the mounted iso (like it did for installing the game)?

Best

You don't have to use an .iso to play it in PlayOnLinux

Try extracting the game folder into your virtual drive:

/home/username/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/casinoempire/drive_c/Program Files/

Then create a new shortcut to the exe from that virtual drive.  You should be able to launch the game now... of course if you have all the dependencies installed

It's been some time, but sooner or later I always come back to the good old games lol.

Do you mean, I should install the game via PlayOnLinux, then using that game folder (/home/username/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/casinoempire/drive_c/Sierra) of that installation and copy it to /home/username/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/casinoempire/drive_c/Program Files/, then in "Configure" make a new shortcut to /home/username/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/casinoempire/drive_c/Program Files/Casino Empire/CasinoEmpire.exe?

It doesn't work, I'm still being asked for the CD.

What dependencies do I need? How do I know, which I need?
