[Minor Problem?] Old Win95 game on Mac

I just read about playonmac and installed my favorite game called "Clash 95". It's a quite unknown game, but I really enjoyed playing it when I was a kid.

I was really excited to see that installation completed successfully and the game started. The gaming works quite well. There is only one little problem. I think it's a graphic problem.

When there are movements/actions happening in the game, the speed slows down and movements become unsmooth. The mouse is also flickering the whole time, so I guess it has something to do with the graphic settings in the wine application (?). Or is it possible that there is a problem with the CD drive (the game requires the game disc in the CD driver to run)?

For now, this seems the only problem. When there is no movement in the game, everything seems to be working well (Display is normal, background music is playing...).

I would appreciate any help! By the way, I'm not really experienced with playonmac or wine.

Best regards, 109.

Just solved the problem. I tried various settings randomly. The solution was changing the Direct Draw Renderer to "gdi". Now I can play my favorite Win95 game on Mac. Thank you playonmac!
