Hi everyone!
I have a late 2013 Retina Macbook Pro with the 2880x1800 LCD. I typically run at "1440x900 Hi DPI", (which is the standard setting), and it doubles the size of everything so that things are the SIZE of 1440, but fully utilizing the 2880 resolution.
In boot camp, again, I run at full resolution, but at double scaling.
But when running apps in PlayOnMac, if I have my Mac on a scaled resolution (like I normally do), the program runs at a stretched out 2x resolution.
For example, I play Age of Empires 2 HD. On Windows, the game runs at 2880x1800. On PlayOnMac, it runs at 1440x900 and stretches it to double that size, so I lose a bunch of detail. One way for me to "fix" this is by switching OS X to running at 2880x1800 unscaled, but then everything is super tiny in the OS (but the apps in playonmac work as expected).
Has anyone else run into this? Any ideas or solutions other than manually switching OS X's resolution before and after using PlayOnMac?
