League of Legends - Shop and IE fail

logan2605	From what i've gathered, to fix the black item shop in the LoL drive, you have to install internet explorer. However upon trying to install IE 8 from the configure menu, it tells me that the installation cannot continue because theres a more up to date version of IE installed. IE is stalled in a completely different virtual drive, for world of tanks, and is NOT on my OS outside of PoL.

logan2605	UPDATE: Trying to install IE 6 breaks the virtual drive.
