Installing SICK Open Portal for Applications and Systems

I am trying to install SICK Open Portal for Applications and Systems. After I go through the setup and click "Install", I get this error:

I have Linux Mint 17.2 (kernel 3.16.0-38-generic) installed on an acer aspire 5750-9460 which has an intel i7-2670QM. I have tried in wine 1.8.2 and 1.9.9 in both 32 and 64 bit. For each, I configured wine to use windows 7 as that is the minumum system requirement of the software.
