I just started translating some message and noticed that the list of strings to be translated is totally messed up.
For example:
Steam have is own automatic update system
This is not even correct in English.
Then, many strings are duplicates:
Steam have is own automatic update system
Steam have is own automatic update system.
Some strings do not make use of variables:
This addon automatically install patch 1.3.5511
This addon automatically install patch 2.5.26461
As a result, this leads to
1. many untranslated strings
2. bad translation quality
3. inconsistent translations/look&feel in general
I therefore propose to
1. Use a small set of standard strings, which should be sufficient for most cases, and list those here: http://wiki.playonlinux.com/index.php/Scripting_-_Chapter_10:_Script_Translation#Messages_reuse
2. Do not accept/add new strings in new scripts unless absolutely necessary
