My Mac:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13 pollici, fine 2013) - Processor: 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 - 8 GB DDR3 a 1600 MHz

Dear all,

I am trying to run a very simple V-Basic .exe program on my Mac.

It basically reads and displays some datas (clock) received from a serial-to-usb cable.

The first error I receive is: "Component MSCOMM32.ocx or one of its dependencies not correcly registered: a file is missing or invalid".

How can I solve this?

It would be very important! I could also send the executable file to someone so kind to try by himself.

Thanks in advance,

M.

Wine does not support raw USB access, so if I understand what you're trying to do it's probably not going to work...

Or in the host system re-abstracting the device as a serial port? mmmh
