Hello! i've recently installed PoL and the first thing i did was install steam. whilst doing so PoL asked for my GPU memory. I entered 1024megabytes and I later realised that it was instead 2048megabytes. How much will this effect the preformance of my games and is there anyway I can change it? does this affect applications other than steam? Thanks in advance!

PS: sorry for any potential bad english.

Hi, two separate things here, first this setting can be set on each virtual drive managed by PlayOnLinux separately, so you may have to fix each virtual drive where it has been set incorrectly

  • Configure button > (select virtual drive) > Display tab > Amount of video memory

Secondly, PlayOnLinux caches the answer to that question so as to not ask you each time, so you have to fix the cache too; There's currently no GUI for that:

  • Open PlayOnLinux console (Tools > PlayOnLinux console) and type
POL_Config_Write VMS 2048
