Cd rom not being reconized

Hi there i have a copy of microsoft office 2007 enterprise that i downloaed from the internet when i try to install it on ubuntu 14.04 with playonlinux the cd rom in not being pick up and the cd does work i play music and movies so i know it works any help with this issue i would be most grateful .
