As suggested in a previous post, have you tried to install ONLY a 32bit wine engine? Installed 32bit libraries ( i know, sometimes those seeems stupid suggestions, but many times are just the solution); do you installed proprietaris drivers or mesa/ fireglx/ noveau ?

I've similar issue.

Using media-libs/mesa x11-drivers/xf86-video-intel and libgnutls 32-bit and 64-bit installed.

If I emerge wine and select 'System' as wine version in LoL wineprefix, then I'm able to login, but I get in-game shop crash.

I could spend some time adding patches to the system wine for the in-game shop crash, but I'd like to know why PoL wine is not working.

Here are my system wine use flags and version

[ebuild   R   ~] app-emulation/wine-1.7.55::gentoo  USE="X alsa cups fontconfig gecko jpeg lcms ldap mono mp3 ncurses nls opengl perl png pulseaudio realtime run-exes ssl staging threads truetype udisks vaapi xcomposite xml -capi -custom-cflags -dos -gphoto2 -gsm (-gstreamer) -netapi -odbc -openal -opencl -osmesa -oss -pcap -pipelight -prelink -s3tc -samba -scanner (-selinux) {-test} -v4l -xinerama" ABI_X86="32 64 (-x32)" LINGUAS="-ar -bg -ca -cs -da -de -el -en -en_US -eo -es -fa -fi -fr -he -hi -hr -hu -it -ja -ko -lt -ml -nb_NO -nl -or -pa -pl -pt_BR -pt_PT -rm -ro -ru -sk -sl -sr_RS@cyrillic -sr_RS@latin -sv -te -th -tr -uk -wa -zh_CN -zh_TW" 0 KiB

Apologies for posting in the wrong place, but got this solved by compiling gnutls with pkcs11 USE flag as specified from 3xkrazy message from the Application tests League of Legends forum.
