Not sure, maybe a unsupported resolution?
Did you try a double-buffering version of Wine?

All is well run on 1.7.53

P.S. msvcr110.dll & msvcp110.dll from World_of_Tanks I copied to /home/kettler/.PlayOnLinux/wine/linux-x86/1.7.53/lib/wine/fakedlls/

Strange, I've never had to do that before.  How did you know to copy the DLL's to wine/fakedlls/?
