Hi community,
I have following problem concerning MS Word 2010, I already posted it in the Office 2010 app support thread, but I'm not sure if it's placed right there.
I'm running POL 4.2.8 on Ubuntu 14.04 and installed Office 2010 SP2.
Following issue:
The Word 2010 bibliography tool doesn't work. I have a document created in Windows with several citations and respective bibliography. Using Word 2010 with POL shows there are no sources available. The tool can't find any sources, so it finds the existing citations to be invalid. There is a "master source list" stored in "userdir/Application Data/Microsoft/Bibliography/sources.xml" and there is a list stored in the document. The cited sources should at least show up on the document side in the bibliography tool.
Copying the master source list "sources.xml" into the correspondent directory in the POL virtual drive (in my case it's Office2010/drive_c/users/ps/Application Data/Microsoft/Bibliography) doesn't change anything - no sources are shown in the tool.
I tested the POL Word by creating a new source: When saving, I get an error message saying that the source list is write protected, then word crashes. Running POL from terminal shows following output while trying to save the bibliographic source:
xmlXPathCompOpEval: function node-set not found
XPath error : Unregistered function
runtime error: element apply-templates
Failed to evaluate the 'select' expression.

then after a while Word crashes:

[main] Error: Microsoft Word 2010 ist abgestürzt.

What else can I contribute?
