Hello,

I'm trying to get Skyrim working through Playonlinux. I've got it all installed (I ended up putting in steam then installing skyrim from that rather than using the script because the script install wouldn't launch at all?). I can open it up and launch it. It does the 'Bethesda' bit and then shows the dragon symbol thing and the smoke but the text on the side where you click to start a game or load a game and so on doesn't show up.

I've tried looking for the issue through google but all I'm getting is the problem with steam not having text and I have already fixed that.

I shall now commence following the sticky's instructions for things I need to include.

Ubuntu 14.04
Intel® Core™ i5-3450 CPU @ 3.10GHz × 4
GeForce GTX 660/PCIe/SSE2
Drivers are NVIDIA binary driver - version 340.76 from nvidia-340 (propriatry) [As you can probably tell, that's straight from my additional drivers section and the system info is from my details section. I didn't want to make any mistakes.]
Playonlinux 4.2.7 (that's as far as I've managed to get it to update to, it doesn't seem to update very easily)
Wine for this one is 1.7.33 (I installed steam through the scripting where you select a program/game to install and that's what it put in? Bit out of date isn't it? Is that the problem?)
Desktop is Unity? It's the default Ubuntu one.
Uh, how do I include debugger script? Do I have to put it up somewhere and link it? Is debugger script even useful here?

Thanks for any help anyone can offer and I'm sorry it's a bit of a mess.

Okay, I've upped the resolution, turned on windowed mode, and turned off antialiasing and I have text now (I did those all at once so I don't know what one helped most) but now whenever I try to launch the game, it freezes up and I eventually have to force quit it.
