Hi folks,

Today I found my Fallout (1) disc, for PC, and decided to have a go at running this on my Mac (OSX 10.9.4). I've installed PlayOnMac, managed to get to the game's installation screen, have installed directx and the game itself, and then hit the Play button. This gives the usual "Please Stand By" screen, but then the game crashes.

Here's the debug output:

[07/16/15 21:56:25] - Running wine- falloutw.exe (Working directory : /Users/myusername/Library/PlayOnMac/wineprefix/FalloutVirtualDrive2ndAttempt/drive_c/Program Files/Interplay/Fallout)

[07/16/15 21:56:27] - Running wine- falloutw.exe (Working directory :

/Users/myusername/Library/PlayOnMac/wineprefix/FalloutVirtualDrive2ndAttempt/drive_c/Program Files/Interplay/Fallout)

[07/16/15 21:56:39] - Running wine- falloutw.exe (Working directory :

fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x33ec5c,0x00000000), stub!

fixme:d3d_shader:upload_palette P8 surface loaded without a palette.

wine(6222,0x401fc000) malloc: *** error for object 0x40268474: pointer being freed was not allocated

*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug

Earlier today, I wasn't getting past the installation step, but managed to overcome that obstacle by switching Wine to Win 95 mode rather than the default XP mode.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
