Hi, i have poblem with retribution campaign. When i hit button campaign game crash O.o - simple as that.
I bought the game, installed and start it to test - everything work perfectly and smooth - intro, campaign selection - gameplay - i tested it for 30 min and then exit to desktop
And after couple of hours i have a more time to play, so i launch the game, and when i want to click campaign button - game crashed. I thought it was accident - but no - game is crashing still.
I can play multi and last stand - tested it - but campaign crash when i hit the button campaign.
Game cache verified - game installed 6 times from that moment and still the same.
When i click the name of my user game crash too.
On the same playonlinux disk i have DOW2 and DOW2 : chaos rising and they works flawlessly :)
On clear wine instalation campaigns works - crash a lot but when u verify cache u can play :) But not on POL.
OS: Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit playonlinux 4.2.2 wine 1.6 graphic ati r9 270 ram 12gb processor i7 xeon
Anybody ideas ?

Update PlayOnLinux. Also, which version of Wine are you using to play through POL ? If 1.6 too, try using newer.
If that doesn't help, give debug output here.
Also, which drivers are you using ? I don't know what causes these crashes, but some games work better on open sources drivers for Radeon(gallium nine - Oibaf has ppa for Ubuntu).

That should always be posted in the first thread (threads without that and full computer specs risk being locked), that way we don't have to ask for it; without it, everything is just a guess.

In this case, I just wanted to be sure he updates everything, before postings logs in next answer.
Anyway....I'm getting DoW 2 series, since it's in promotion on Steam. I guess Ill start with this one, and see if I encounter any issues.

Tried with POL 4.2.8 and Wine 1.7.47 on a fresh drive, and also got this issue(error about unimplemented function in msvcr80.dll in debug output).
Installing msvc80, vcrun2008, and vcrun2010 fixes it. All three are required.
