Hi sorry I'm new at this. I've been resurching since last night on how install Origin on my Ubuntu and I finally figured it out! the only problem I am having now is getting it to install. I have playonlinux, I've installed wine and   when I finally get the the point of trying to download Origin It tells me there was an error a couple of times. It will eventually pop up like its supose to and tell me not to click next untill the installation is compleat but its not loading anything. I don't know what to do and I just really want to play sims haha. Any help or info would be appreciated!

I keep getting this message

Wine seems to have crashed

If your program is running, just ignore this message

What Ubuntu are you using?
Which version of PlayOnLinux are you using?
Which Wine versions did you try?

I haven't used Origin in a long time, so I'm not exactly sure what has changed.  I'm sure its using QT5 by now, so make sure to use newer versions of Wine like 1.7.46

Hi,

Can you try with the latest Staging wine versio?

(To install it, use the menu Tools -> Manage Wineversions). Then, don't forget to configure your wineprefix with the installed version.

Many thanks
