Really?  I will try to test PR again with Wine 1.8 and see how it goes

Thanks!

FYI I managed to get both PR's launcher as well as the game to work, I can create and join servers, but unfortunately the ground isn't rendered, so it's still not playable :(

What I did:

- Wine 1.9.15-staging (though I guess 1.9.15 should work as well, haven't tried though)

- 32 bit prefix, windows XP

- Mount the iso in Linux and install Project Reality 1.3.5 standalone

- Install: d3dx9_43, dotnet40, vcrun2012

- Overrides: openal32 (native, builtin), this fixes a crash I experienced with the launcher

Then just run the launcher and let it update itself to 1.3.9.

After that you should be able to start the game. I do get a popup saying that it seems like the application is hanging, but it just takes a bit of time to load the menu.

I haven't tested Project Reality in a long time.  Please let use know what you find if you get it working.  Thanks!
