http://www.gamersonlinux.com/forum/threads/ghostbusters-guide.149/
and i get this error Fatal: Package installation will fail until you set /proc/sys/kernel/yama/ptrace_scope to 0
now i tried to follow the permanent solution here
https://www.playonlinux.com/en/topic-10534-Regarding_ptrace_scope_fatal_error.html
For a more permanent solution edit /etc/sysctl.d/10-ptrace.conf as root but i have no idea how to edit the 10-ptrace.conf i cant find it any where on my drive oh and im using Lubuntu 15.0.4 vivid thanks

If you cannot find it, then you just need to create the file, just as shown, with that content, and then restart. That should set that option every time you boot.

After looking at it, you shouldn't need anything at all to play it. We don't support 3rd party guides (plus that guide is a couple of years old); please disregard that guide. Nevertheless, you should be able to create a 32-bit virtual drive with the newest version of Wine (1.7.45), install Steam into that virtual drive (or just install Ghostbusters in there), and it should work. Don't install anything extra from Install Components and don't change any options in the virtual drive. According to WineHQ, it is not needed (the game has a platinum rating).

Not right now, but someone would have absolutely NO problem writing one; it has a platinum rating. In all honesty, you shouldn't even need POL. lol. Just create a 32-bit virtual drive with the newest version of Wine, install the game, and you are good. No extra components or options should be needed. It should just work on a fresh, non-modified virtual drive (though if you are installing it through Steam, you will need to install Steam into the virtual drive, but that is it, according to WineHQ).
