I play a lot of old games in PlayOnLinux and they support smaller resolutions like 1024x768 and 2048x1024
I also always use the virtual desktop because of the mouse support
So when I launch an old game and my Linux Desktop is 1680x1050, they appear windowed because the desktop doesn't switch to the game resolution.

Is there a way to run a command like\

xrandr 1024x768

When I launch a game in PlayOnLinux so the Linux Desktop will match the in-game resolution?

Configure button > (select  shortcut) > Miscellaneous tab > Command to exec before running the program

Is there a way to run Terminal commands from the PlayOnLinux shortcut, so when I Run the game the xrandr -s command runs automatically?

Isn't that the same as what you asked before?

Oh, I didn't realize the "command to exec" before running the program applied to the shortcuts on the desktop.
I'll try it again.

Also, do you think running:

taskset -c 0

would work as well?

would I have to add:

taskset -c 0 steam.exe

Or whatever the game executable is?
