Probably an outdated script/WineBuild. You should probably update your version of POL first (from our Downloads section), but I think this may just need a newer Wine version...
Actually, it has a gold rating on Appdb:
https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=23045
but not with this Wine version (the script uses 1.4.1, which is pretty old).
Do this:
Update PlayOnLinux to 4.2.8 from the Download section.
Install Wine version 1.7.34 from the Manage Wine Versions dialogue and use that for Jedi Knight: Outcast. If it works, let me know here, and I will update the WineBuild for our script so it is automated. :)
Thanks for reporting the issue with the script (at least that is what I anticipate it might be. lol.).

You shouldn't be adding anything into the virtual drive unless you know that you need it. Please delete the virtual drive and reinstall it, then run it with the new version of Wine, without adding anything extra to the virtual drive.
@petch - That is good to know that is what that error code means. To me, this looks like missing 32-bit graphics libs.
@Lotus1 - You will want to do that above, as well as apply the ptrace_scope fix before running the game's installer. I guess let's start with that stuff and go from there. I don't have the game, otherwise I would help test it out for you. :)

32-bit graphics libraries installed? Or maybe try to install a different version of the Nvidia driver (with 32-bit libraries). The errors near the top are making me think that your nvidia drivers are not working/not properly installed.

I performed the operations, The driver reverted to the one I curently had (NIVIDIA G98M [GeForce 9300MGS], driver 331.113). After this the program still does not load. But now when I load PlayOnLinux, it tells me that wine is not installed (though the wine features and functions are present).
Looking at the error code, It looks as though it is the exact same report.

Just reinstall Wine. It shouldn't have deleted it, though.
So, this is a laptop? Does it have an Intel GPU too (what I am asking is, does your laptop have 2 cards; nvidia and intel, aka optimus-enabled)? If it does, you might need to look into bumblebee (all of the graphics related stuff is covered in the wiki).

I currently own a system 76 laptop (pangolin performance) that has been going for about 6-7 years now. Its graphics card has never been that powerful. I usually keep to low end games, the steam program and its games runs just fine.
I think I am going to take a step back from this project for now as I think "If it ain’t broke, do not fix it" in terms of gaming. I am planning to pick up a new computer in a few months with much improved hardware over what I have now. At that point I will pick up Play on Linux and try again.

Word. Seriously, nowadays, you can get a nice laptop with an AMD iGPU in it for like, $500 or less. I got a nice 4GB RAM, dual core AMD with a nice little GPU built into the CPU, and it runs nice. Great performance for the price ($330 brand new with a back-to-school special). Especially in the Fall, you are going to run into great deals all over the place. :)
