TERA not working, Steam version

Certificate authentication failed

I have downloaded TERA through Steam, and when I try to open the launcher I get a "Host"-error saying "Certificate authentication failed, reinstall to correct the problem.

This has happened twice after trying to reinstall. How can I fix this? I have searched around and seen a lot of threads saying I need to change root certifications or something, but I have no idea how to do this.

Anyone experiencing the same problem that could help?

Debug logs, please (they are required in your first post, as are your computer specs. Without them, we are guessing).

I have no idea how to debug logs, and what it means. I've tried searching it up, but all I found was people doing it in/with different programs/applications that I do not have.

Computer specs:
Macbook Pro, Retina, mid 2014
2,6 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB RAM 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel Iris 1536 MB
