Hi,
this is my first usage of PlayOnLinux.
I try to install Neverwinter Online via "Install - Games - Neverwinter Online". It downloads Wine, then some game content, and at last updates for the game (7.5 GB). Wonderful! Not really, because the game does not start - or more precisely: the installer doesn't quit.
I shut down the computer and wanted to try today, and when I try to reinstall I cannot resume/overwrite, because of the updated files.
Now I am starting a new installation (with backing up the downloaded content to another directory) to see, if I was just to impatient...

...I shouldn't have loged me in:
I started a new installation and quit at the login screen. Voila! There is a link to start the login screen again, and I can start the game.

Awesome! I've been playing Neverwinter in PlayOnLinux again and the only problem I've noticed is that its a bit slow loading right after the Cryptic loading screen. The first time it took up to 15 minutes.
Are you playing through Steam?

You shouldn't need to anymore with the scripts that are available. ;) It is awesome that we can bypass the CDN (Arc or Steam) thanks to that user that posted the links to the installers. That makes it SO much easier. I have been playing STO like, a lot. lol.

Out of curiosity, what happens if you don't log in and wait?

Nothing. It just causes POL's installer to get goofy if the client fails to download or crashes or something. It really just throws an error, but should still finish everything up and drop a shortcut in the main window. Really, you don't HAVE to wait, but closing the launcher and restarting it after POL's installer finishes avoids any errors, as erroneous as they may be.

Ah, that makes sense. Don't interrupt PlayOnLinux installers by quitting the launcher. Got it
Thanks
