I've been able to type in about 1/5 games I've played so far. Any ideas? This is regarding typing *in game* not at the screen after the game ends or on character picking.

Update: I'm thinking it's maybe just not letting me press enter to open the chat box? The other key presses are obviously working as I can use them in the rest of the game. Also, I was just in a game where *sometimes* it would open the chat box when I pressed enter and sometimes it wouldn't do anything, so the behavior can change within a single game (still ARAM).

Please provide all of your computer specs and debug output (as required, per the forum rules and wiki). There might be something in that information that will clue us in. 

I ran it from the terminal and there were no errors (and no output other than the starting messages on boot).

Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit, fresh install (as of 2 days ago)

PlayOnLinux 4.2.6

CPU: Xeon E3-1200

Graphics: GeForce GTX 660 Ti

RAM: Corsair Vengence LP 2 x 8 GB, 1600 (running at 1333)

 

Let me know if there's anything else specific that would be useful to know (and maybe how to find it out).

Although another weird behavior (possibly related or unrelated) is that I can't right click on people in my friends list...
