Hi,

I would like to know if Adobe Audition 3.0 can be added as one the compatible softwares that can be used with Wine(Play On Linux).  I've been able to install the program using Wine(Play On Linux) on Zorin OS 9.1 , however, when it is recording there are segments of the waveform that seem to halt and leave blank spaces.  Can you assist with this issue?  If not, can you assist me in uninstalling the program via Wine?

Someone will need to write a script for it. It is a community-based project, so someone that owns it will need to contribute code. You can do it, as well. The scripting is not hard. If you are interested in writing a script, you can read how to here:

That is likely something that can be fixed via Wine (using either a special version of Wine or installing some extra components into POL). You should look up this application here for more information on how to get it working right, if anyone has managed to do so:

I would love to, but you didn't post your full computer specs and debug output, as per the forum rules (the ones that say Read Before Posting...). Either way, WineHQ is where you should start, unless someone in the forums has that program and knows better, appdb.winehq.org is the first place to check.

I'm a newbie in the linux world and was able to install Adobe Audition 3.0 with PlayonLInux version 4.2.2. that comes with Linux OS version 9.1 Core. I also install Pulse Audio Volume Control to route the audio signal instead of jack which worked perfectly.  I install the program using the gui of playonlinux as a 64-bit instead of a 32-bit vitual in Wine.  Can you still assist me?  Also, how would I uninstall the programs via playonlinux? 

My computer specs are as follow:

Zorin OS 9.1 Core (Free Version)
- Wine (Playon Linux version 4.2.2
- Zorin look Changer or GNOME 2
- Records waveform, halts leaving a blank space in the waveform and continue recording the waveform.
- Dell Vostro 200, Intel Dual Core 2.4 GHz processor with 4GB Memory

First, you should upgrade to POL 4.2.5 (check our download section).

Your system already comes with Pulseaudio by default, and PA vol control is just a GUI for it. Jack is something different. pavucontrol just controls what you already have.

Always use 32-bit Wine. 64-bit is highly experimental, and will usually not work. Pretty much ONLY use 32-bit Wine versions.
