Hello to everyone!

First of all i wish to thanks to Playonlinux developers for the support they give us to play good windows games.

Second, i have read Ronin Dusette's posts to follow rules about submitting issues to POL:

http://www.playonmac.com/en/topic-10771-How_to_get_your_debug_output.html

http://www.playonmac.com/en/topic-10770-How_to_report_your_problems.html

I hope i am doing it rigth. If not, please tell me how to correct it or improve.

Name of the distribution – Linux Mint 17.1 “Rebecca” KDE 64bits

- Name of the software and its version WINE 1.6.2
- Your desktop – KDE

- KDE SC version – 4.13.2

- Playonlinux version4.2.5

- Nvidia Drivers linux: 346.35

- Kernel version linux: Linux 3.13.0-37-generic

- Your computer configuration :

MOTHERBOARD – Asrock Z97 Extreme 6 skt 1150

GRAPHIC CARDS – Gygabite Geforce GTX 970 Windforce 3x G1 gaming Soc 4Gb GDDR5

CPU – Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5 GHZ 6MB skt 1150

SSD – Crucial MX100 512GB

HDD – Seagate Barracuda 1Tb 7200RPM 64MB SATA III

MEMORY- G.Skill PC3-12800 1600 MHZ TridentX 16GB

-Errors from the software. And if possible, tell when and/or where it happens -

I have downloaded the game via Playonlinux software. It went fine. Could login without a problem. Every time after the login it takes literally 20 to 25 minutes just to enter the game. I had played SWTOR on older hardware before this one and could enter in 5 minutes and play it. With this better hardware it takes too much time just to load for playing the game.

I was expecting that the new hardware that i am using rigth now (as i am writing this text) could be much more faster than the older hardware but instead i got very slow “entrance” to the game...

- What i want:

I want to enter the game as fast as possible like in windows. Before installed linux on this system i had windows 8.1.

Now the debugging output as below:

That is something that the developers for Wine would likely want to address. I play a few games that take FOREVER to actually load, then run fine after that. Have you checked http://appdb.winehq.org to see if someone has a fix for it? I have to imagine others are having that issue too (I specifically have it with STO, but it is something that the Wine team will need to patch up).

Thanks very much for your fast reply Ronin. I will try to put this question on wine site. But as far i saw it.. seems a bit complicated to do it because seems to me that needs programming skills...and found one similar question but it is now too old...anyway thank you for your help.

Nah. You don't need programming skills to post there. Just read their rules well, and if someone asks for a piece of info, they will usually be happy to tell you how to grab whatever they need to troubleshoot it. :)
