Hello everyone,
I have managed to install and run Football Manager 2014 on PoL, however I can't get L Shift + Click combo to work in the game. It's very annoying as there are moments when I need to select like 40 positions from the list. Without L Shift + click I'm left alone with clicking every single name.
Any way to make this work?
Thanks.
EDIT: Oh, sorry. PoL version: 4.2.5, Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, Wine 1.7.33.

Um, you may want to try to run it in a virtual desktop. I find that on some apps my shortcuts work better.
PlayOnLInux -> Configure -> select the virtual drive for FM14 -> Wine tab -> Configure Wine -> Graphics tab -> Emulate a virtual desktop -> set desired resolution, click ok, and try again.
I don't use Ubuntu (with Unity), so I am wondering if L-Shift is a hotkey for it? I know that on KDE, when I want to use ALT, I have to press the WIN key too, otherwise Wine does not escape ALT, and because ALT is a hotkey for dragging windows in KDE, that caused issues. Might be something to look in to. Also, check appdb.winehq.org. You may find some more info in their database if that game is listed.

Thanks for the input. Actually I already have virtual desktop enabled in order to be able to Alt+Tab back to desktop any any time. As for the Shift+LClick probem, it doesn't solve it.
I'll keep looking, thx.

Hmmm. I am not sure then. Does it do anything? I mean, when you do that combo, does your system do anything or does absolutely nothing happen? Also, is it possible to maybe change the keybindings for the game?

Nah, it doesn't do anything. Maybe keybindings is the good track though.

Very good point. If there is a native version of this game, then we should not support it through POL. Checking on that now.

Yeah, so after checking, we will not support this. I am sorry, but you will need to play it though Windows or have a native Linux version. No reason for Wine/POL if it is native.
