Recently I installed Jasc Paintshop Pro 9 which works. However in first use, there's a problem with a sticking window. This is the Quick Guides window which blocks access to choosing the default file handling window. It covers that window and will not budge!

What has to be done immediately before you open Paint Shop Pro 9 after installation finish, is to open the PlayonLinux Virtual Drive of Paintshop Pro and cut the Quick Guides and Learning Folders and Paste to Desktop. After you have finished with decided what you want to associate, exit the programme and paste them back in to the Program Files folders.  

All works OK.

I am sorry if this does not make sense, but I am running mavericks on an imac and I want to run paint shop pro 9. does your post only relate to running psp 9 on a linux machine?
