Hello there! I started using PlayOnMac a month and a half or so ago, after deciding I wanted to play Age of Empires 2 on steam. I installed and followed this guide http://steamcommunity.com//sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=247537337 and there were no issues at all. Now, I'm trying to play Age of Mythology on Steam and I'm not able to get it started.
I'm using a Mid-2012 13-inch Macbook Pro, with a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5, an Intel HD Graphics 4000 card, and OS X 10.9.4. PlayOnMac is using version 1.7.21. I'm trying to play AoM, but whever I do, a little Error box pops up saying "MSXML 4.0 is not installed correctly. It is required to run the game." I deleted the _CommonRedist and Launcher.exe files to get past the MSVC installation. To fix it, I tried downloading MSXL4.dll from a .dll website, but all it did was put a 10 second delay between my clicking "Play" and the box saying I couldn't popping up, whereas before it popped up almost immedieately. Can anyone help? Sorry in advance if this is in the wrong section, I couldn't decide if it should go here or under Supported Software.
